Nusuk App: Rawdah Permit Booking Guide

A Madinah hotel booking does not reserve a Rawdah appointment. Use the official Nusuk process for your own traveller details and dates, then build the hotel and transport plan around the appointment you actually obtain.

Entry visa, Umrah platform and Rawdah permit are different

A Saudi entry visa or ETA allows travel under its conditions; it is not a Rawdah appointment. Nusuk Umrah offers pilgrimage packages for eligible applicants, while the official Nusuk app provides permit services. Start with our Umrah visa guidance if you are unsure which entry route applies to your passport. A company offering help cannot guarantee authority approval or a particular appointment.

Step 1: Get the official app and register

Use the app linked by https://www.nusuk.sa/ or the Saudi Ministry, not an unofficial account offering permits. Follow the registration fields currently shown for your traveller category; check spelling and passport or visa information against the documents. Once your details are accepted, look for the Rawdah service. Screen labels can change, so this guide does not promise a permanent button sequence or require waiting until arrival in every case.

Step 2: Check appointments for your Madinah dates

Open the Rawdah permit service and follow the options available to your account. Select an eligible appointment within your actual stay, read the conditions and complete the confirmation shown. Check each traveller’s requirements separately, including any child or companion conditions. A family hotel reservation does not mean one adult permit admits the whole family.

Step 3: Save and follow your permit

Keep the confirmed permit and required identification accessible and your phone charged. Follow the time, admission category and checkpoint instructions on the permit and from mosque staff. Men’s and women’s arrangements may differ; do not rely on a fixed gate or timetable copied from an old blog. Allow time for the walk, queues and checks, particularly on your arrival or intercity travel day.

If there are no slots or the app shows an error

Check your traveller details, current eligibility and the options available in the official app. Use official help if a registration or technical problem persists. There is no guaranteed weekly release time or repeat-visit limit promised here. If you miss a confirmed appointment, follow the cancellation or rebooking process offered; entry outside the booked time is not assured. Never pay someone claiming they can bypass the official appointment rules.

Plan a flexible Madinah visit

Leave room for prayer, rest and hotel travel even if your preferred appointment is unavailable. Check Saudi announcements about Hajj-season restrictions rather than copying last year’s dates. Ask for a tailored itinerary with confirmed hotels and transport, and read the FAQs below for the distinction between visas and permits. Rawdah guidance is a practical booking aid, not a guarantee of admission.

Questions about this guide

Nusuk and Rawdah Permits

Do I need a permit to visit the Rawdah in Madinah?

A booked Rawdah permit is required. Check available appointments in Nusuk for each traveller; a hotel booking or visa does not reserve a slot. Read our guide to how to perform Umrah for planning your Madinah visit.Visa and permit guidance

When are Rawdah slots released and how often can I visit?

Use the availability and eligibility shown in your Nusuk account. Release times and repeat-visit rules can change, so do not rely on a fixed weekly release day or an old visit limit. Check nusuk.sa before making travel plans around a particular appointment.Visa and permit guidance

Can I arrange Nusuk permits before leaving the UK or Ireland?

Once your visa and traveller details are accepted by Nusuk, check whether appointments for your dates are available. Book early when possible and save the permit details on your phone. Our Umrah visa team can help you prepare the information.Visa and permit guidance

Do children and family members need their own Rawdah bookings?

Check the age and companion requirements currently shown in Nusuk. Do not assume one adult permit admits everyone in the family. Share each traveller's age in your enquiry form so your family Umrah plans allow time for the appropriate bookings.Visa and permit guidance

What should I do if I miss my Rawdah appointment?

Follow the cancellation and rebooking options in Nusuk and look for an eligible new slot. Entry outside your permit time is not guaranteed; arrive early enough for the checkpoint and keep your identification ready.Visa and permit guidance
